Information on the 2012 Awards are now available. 

In keeping with the principal goals of the SSA, which include disseminating and promoting the exchange of information about stroke, the SSA calls for applications from stroke fellows, neurology trainees, and higher degree students wishing to present their work at the SSA annual scientific conference for 2011 in Adelaide. The $1000 awards are intended to defray the costs of travel and accommodation.

This application form is for nurses and allied health professionals who are members of the SSA to apply for support for rural professional development.

This application form is for nurses and allied health professionals who are members of the SSA to apply for conference assistance to attend a national or international stroke meeting.

Open to health professionals, social care professionals and general professionals who have demonstrated a long term commitment (five or more years) in the field of stroke. This award celebrates those who have gone above and beyond their professional duties to improve stroke care and outcomes for stroke patients.

Open to stroke survivors, carers, members of the general public and people who work in a voluntary capacity. This award celebrate those who have shown a long term (five or more years) commitment to supporting stroke survivors or improving care for stroke survivors and raising awareness of stroke survivors’ needs.
