Postgraduate Study in Clinical Research, The University of Melbourne

Obtain a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research (new in 2017), Diploma from 2018 or Master in Clinical Research from 2018. The Graduate Certificate requires the completion of four 12.5 point subjects, equivalent to four weeks of teaching plus relevant assessment activities.

An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in medicine, an allied health profession, nursing, science or social science which is recognised by the University as evidence of adequate preparation for the course plus documented evidence of at least the equivalent of one year’s full-time relevant professional work experience in a medical, scientific or allied health environment and an explanation of why the course is to be undertaken.

Principles of Clinical Research
Study Design in Clinical Research
Responsibilities in Clinical Research
Date Analysis in Clinical Research
And towards the Diploma or Master:
Clinical Neuroscience Research (week 1)
Neuroimaging for Clinical Research (week 2)

Master of Health Science - Stroke Management, University of Newcastle

The Master of Health Science - Stroke Management specialisation will promote the development of health professionals with knowledge, skills and attitudes to function as an expert clinician within specialist multidisciplinary stroke services. It will enhance the capacity for the develop of research initiatives in advanced stroke management, and will contribute towards a reduction in stroke morbidity and mortality by promoting stroke champions with broad ranging knowledge and skills in service planning, development and evaluation.
